Senior Concert March 2025

On Wednesday evening 26 March, our Music Department staff and students presented the Senior Concert which entertained a large and enthusiastic audience of families and friends in the Assembly Hall.  The programme featured an appealing range of musical styles and genres, from Baroque choral and instrumental music, and songs from the shows, to Irish Folk Music and Grunge Rock.  There were notable solos and duets from twenty of our Year 12, 13 and 14 students, who are preparing for their GCSE and A Level performance units.  The Senior Strings, Senior Irish Traditional Group, Senior Wind Ensemble, and the 45-strong SATB Senior Choir also gave memorable renditions of well-known classics and modern favourites.  Congratulations to all the musicians involved for presenting such an enjoyable concert.
