Annual Pupil Celebration 2025
A Heartfelt Final Farewell to the 2025 Leavers
This year’s guest speaker, Mr Cormac Diamond, delivered a moving address reflecting on his own journey as a pupil at St. Mary’s. He spoke with sincerity about how the school prepared him to face life’s challenges and inspired him to find opportunity in adversity. As the founder of Bloc Blinds, Mr Diamond shared valuable lessons from his experiences as a student, an engineer, and an innovator. His words offered insight and encouragement to everyone in attendance.
The evening was filled with reflection, as Form Teachers who had supported pupils from their very first day at St. Mary’s looked on with pride. It was also a celebration of achievement, with awards presented for excellence in academics, music, and sport, as well as for bravery and the consistent demonstration of St. Mary’s values.
Above all, the evening was one of aspiration. Conversations were filled with excitement and curiosity about the future, as pupils looked ahead to the opportunities and adventures that await them.
A sincere thank you to Mr Cormac Diamond for his role as guest speaker, to Mrs Higgins and her team for organising and facilitating the day, and to everyone who contributed to making the celebration such a success.
Finally, to every single pupil of the Class of 2025: thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the stories you have created at St. Mary’s. May they guide you well in the journey to come. And wherever life takes you, may a part of you always remain with St. Mary’s.
